I'm the creator of this site. I am a lifetime Girl Scout and I grew up camping, playing outside, and loving nature. I want to share my passions for nature and making the world a better place and help you connect with nature too! Welcome!

With the inspiration from my master degree program, I have developed a unique way to help connect people with nature and community conservation efforts. I hope you enjoy!

Inspiration

Brookfield Zoo

One of my many inspirations is my local zoo. I was fascinated to learn all the impact this zoo has on the local community and global animal community. They are not just an attraction, they are actively working to make the world a better place by their conservation efforts locally and around the world!

Miami University

As part of my graduation requirements I am required to do a 'Master Plan' intended to make an ongoing impact in my community and around the world with a focus in sustainability, stewardship, conservation, and  environmental awareness tying in the coursework and experiences from the program to the project.

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts and many camping trips are the foundation for my love of nature. As an adult, in Girl Scouts, I learned about the world-wide GPS hide and seek game called geocaching which is how I hope to make a difference. Part of the Girl Scout Law is to "make the world a better place." I believe in the principals in the Girl Scout law and I could not have made it this far without my Girl Scouting experience!
